ISRO’s project
A study analyzed remotely sensed sea surface temperature (SST) data from 2003 to 2019 was retrieved from NASA Giovanni online data system to identify thermally affected regions of Andaman islands. The study used parameters such as maximum monthly mean (MMM), monthly mean climatology (MMC), SST positive anomaly, bleaching threshold (BT), degree heating week (DHW), and hotspot. The results showed that the Andaman Islands are facing a serious threat from rising SST. The hotspot regions identified in this study can be used to prfioritize conservation efforts and to monitor the impact of climate change on coral reefs in the region.
The study provides valuable insights into the impact of climate change on coral reefs. It shows that the Andaman Islands are particularly vulnerable to rising SST, and that hotspot regions are likely to be the most affected. The study also suggests that conservation efforts should focus on these hotspot regions in order to protect the coral reefs of the Andaman Islands.
Published a Successful Book
We Published a Book that Has Sold Over 150 Copies and still counting. I had the pleasure of collaborating with my friend, Ayush Kesharwani, who is one of the leading geologists in the field. This book provides a convenient approach to the aspirants. This book contains subject-wise categorisation of questions from 2000 to 2021 with answer keys at the end of each subject. A student is highly unlikely to be effective if they prepare for all the subjects simultaneously and hence most of the aspirants prepare for a couple of subjects at a time. This book helps them to practice the respective subjects which is organised and separated out properly so that they do not lose focus or get diverted from their strategy. This book also contains an in-depth analysis of question pattern such as trending charts, proportion of questions distribution of each subject over a span of last 22 years and therefore it provides enough information for an aspirant to make their strategy accordingly.
